I feel so blessed that I was able to call LaDonna Heaven a close friend. Since our freshmen year we had a special bond. LaDonna is the most thoughtful friend I have ever had, she would call me every Christmas in Maryland and wrote to me while I studied in England. She always remembered her friends. Ladonna was such an inspiration and an encourager. She loved her family, friends and God so much. She always made me smile and laugh. To LaDonna's family: I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my daily thoughts and prayers. LaDonna truly did change my outlook on life, and I am a better person because of the way she positively influenced me. "Stay Beautiful!"

How sad when a young life ends. I was one of LaDonna's teachers at Northport. She is one of those students you never forget. I'm so glad to know that I can see her again one day. Her life and testimony are already impacting the lives of others. If you aren't sure that you will see LaDonna one day in Heaven, all you have to do is say a prayer and invite Jesus to come into your life. Then, tell someone and find a church to go to so that you can grow in the Lord.

To
The Family:
I never met LaDonna or your family.I must say I was browsing through
another city's obitiuary and was directed to this one. I will say this
with assurance " God is too wise to make a mistake and too just to do
wrong. I'm lost for words to see this child was so loved and so full of
dreams, and at her age just fufilled and accomplished so much. To the
family and friends you were truly blessed to have known her. Now after
you've done all you can, just stand!I pray right now that The peace of
God that surpasses all understanding carry you all through! It saddens
me,but this guest book has did something to me. I Thank God for change
in my life! This womans life is an example of pure Faith, Love and
Hope. Blessings on you all. Continue to seek God for when we can't God
can!!

Ms. Heaven,
That was something you always admired about yourself.... your name. When someone with such a positive influence dies so young while there are so many bad people in the world, it makes you question God's motive. However, with all the wonderful things you did with your short time on this earth, I can't even imagine what you are going to be capable of in Heaven. I'll never forget the times that we spent acting completely crazy (like when we were driving in Orlando screaming Ella Fitzgerald's "Fever") or even when we sat for hours and analyzed everything about life. You always saw the beauty in people, and it seemed as if it was a mission of yours to make them stay that way. So LaDonna Louise:), I will always "Stay Beautiful!"

LaDonna
I can't believe you are gone, its not seating with me well right now because I just talk to you on the phone. My heart hurts because I can remember us talking about what we're going to do once we graduated from high school and then on to college and it upsets me becuase you made it all the way and you can't even be hear to enjoy it. I feel like it's not fare because we didn't have enough time to go through adult hood together because GOD thought it was time for you to be with him early. I wanted you to meet the first baby in our family Christopher Nixon Jr.I know you saw pictures but I wanted you to see him becuase I know you always find something funny or crazy to say and you know why I say that. I know he would of loved you becuase you were loved by everyone. I can remember at the Upward Bound Program we did little pranks in our room on each other or you getting mad at J.T. becuase of something he said or did, you were like the big sister of the group. We looked up to you about so many things.Ladonna you will be greatly missed not forgot, your memories will live on. I love you and I miss you so much.

LaDonna,
I can't even believe that you are gone. You were such a special and
positive person to be around, it doesn't seem fair. You will be forever
missed and loved by everyone who has ever come in contact with you. I
apologize for us losing touch after we graduated, but I want you to
know you were always in my heart and I love you and will miss you very
much. Save a spot for me in heaven.

LaDonna,
This has been the hardest week of my life and I don't have my best friend to help me through. I always knew that we would be friends for life, but I never knew life would end so soon.

I don't know how to do this without you. You have always been there. I am so thankful for the times we did have, but they have left me needing more. I know we are the lucky ones. Not many people are blessed with true - unconditional friendship. You loved my flaws as much as you loved my good points.

How is this possible? How can it be real that you are gone? How can I never hear your goofy chuckle or see your beautiful smile?

LaDonna I wasn't prepared to do what I've done this week. I want to be helping plan your wedding or baby shower not your funeral. I've lost something so valuable - you. I'm lost without you. I know you are in a better place and I keep telling myself that, but I still want you here with me so badly.

You taught me so much about faith. You always "see God's grace in every mistake." I'm using the Bible verses you wrote to help me cope with this. You taught me so much about life.

I will try to open up more. I will try to always trust in God and go to church more. I will try to live half of the life that you did in your short time here.

LaDonna you will always be my best friend until we see each other again in heaven. I love you. Stay beautiful!

I first met LaDonna during an interview for "Rotary's Student of the Month". I was so impressed with this vibrant, young lady and knew that anything she set her mind to do would become a reality. She had such a zest for life, love for others and a strong faith in God. She was bright, happy and uplifting to be around. She loved, respected and spoke highly of her Grandmother Bernice. LaDonna once told me that she owed her success to her Grandmother because of her support, unconditional love and instilling the value of believing in yourself. I was so proud of LaDonna when she called to tell me that she was accepted at Warner Southern College in Lake Wales. She accomplished her dream of earning a college degree and while doing so touched the lives of all who knew her. I will never forget her beautiful smile, Christian attitude and love for life. LaDonna was a special young lady whom I feel privileged to have known and called friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew her here on earth but can have peace knowing that she is continuing her hopes and dreams with Jesus in HEAVEN.

My prayers are with her family during this difficult time.

Hi baby girl...Words don't express how I'm feeling right now. As you often said, "my heart moans and groans and somehow He hears me." I'm feeling that at this moment and I know you can hear what I have to say because you are a part of me and I a part of you. My life will never be the same but will forever be changed because I knew you. I'll try to bring what I know you'd bring to the people in my life. I'll never let Lorelei be too sassy or Logan be too rough. I won’t pick petty fights with Brian, I'll stop biting my nails and I promise to always say excuse me after I burp. I'll cherish my family and my friends and I'll be the woman, daughter, sister, friend, wife and someday mother you expected me to be. I will do my best to always honor the Lord and I pray for just a fraction of the faith you possessed. Thank you for allowing me to share in the gift of your life. I love you, stay beautiful!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I thank God for allowing me to be a part of LaDonna's life but more importantly, I thank him for sharing her with me. I will cherish her contagious laughter and our late night talks of encouragement and "sister talk". No matter how near or far and the time span in between telphone conversations/emails, she never let distance nor time become a barrier in our friendship. "Stay Beautiful, I love you." My prayers go out to family and friends.
