Leonardo Welf Obituary

Leonardo Welf, 83, died May 17, 2006. He was born in Italy and lived in Port St. Lucie for six years, coming from Coral Gables. Before retirement, he was a structural engineer at a construction company in New York City. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Julie Welf of Port St. Lucie; sister, Rina Fazio of Buenos Aires, Argentina; son, Leonardo Welf Jr. of Atlanta; daughters, Laura Welf of Port St. Lucie, and Liza Vaz of Atlanta; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Road N.E., Atlanta, GA. SERVICES: A service will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Yates Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie.
