Michael R. "Mickey" Donn, Jr., 49, of Stuart passed away November 9, 2016 at his residence.
Born July 17, 1967 in Hialeah, FL, he was the son of Michael Ray Donn, Sr. and Terri Marie Allison Donn. He began his culinary career in Florida and worked at a number of locations. He moved to North Carolina and was the executive chef at a Sheridan Oceanside resort. Mickey returned to Florida and began a career in the marine ship repair industry and worked as a robotic technician for UltraStrip Systems, which then became Ecosphere Technologies. That division of the Company was sold and became Chariot Robotics. Mickey became a Project Manager for the new company and worked on jobs around the world.
He was an avid sports fan with Miami Dolphins as his favorite team.
Mickey is survived by his wife, Regina D. Davidson; mother, Terri Donn; father, Michael R. "Mickey" Donn, Sr.; step-mother, Christie Donn; sister, Tiffany Marie Bensley and husband, Scott; sister-in-law, Krystal Pye; step-sister, Amy Pomerant; paternal grandmother, Frances Donn; uncles and aunts, Dennis and Jackie McGuire, Gary and Cathy Donn, David "Porgy" Donn, Kenneth and Pary Donn; niece, Taylor Donn; nephews, Austin Donn and Tomas Rodriquez; cousins, Dennis McGuire, Jr; Corey McGuire; Trace McGuire; Dustin Donn; Danielle Donn; Kristine Menillo-Cherchi; Patrick Rossi; David Rousseau; Kelly Rousseau; Tracy Aulet; and his special companions, Bruiser and Howie.
His brother, Jason Allen Donn, preceded Mickey in death.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231
A gathering of family and friends will be 5 PM to 7PM, Friday, November 18, 2016 at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 7 PM, Chaplain L. C. Campbell officiating.

Mickey made me laugh often, He was kind, generous and a fabulous chef. He loved dogs and they loved him. Mickey was the kind of friend you keep in touch with for over 25 yrs. We checked in every 5 yrs or so. I'm going to miss him but I know that he has been released from his burdens and has joined Jason to watch over us until we join him. But still my heart aches. My sympathies to Terri, Mickey Sr., Tiff & Scott, Taylor & Tomas and all of the family

Bob and I are so saddened at the passing of Mickey, Jr. and at such a young age, it is even more heartbreaking. He has always been a wonderful and kind person, and he will be truly missed by us all.
