Rudolph Pino Obituary

Dr. Rudolph V. Pino, 81, died July 22, 2005, at the University of Miami Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Palm City for 11 years, coming from Willimantic, Conn. He practiced dentistry in Willimantic for 32 years. He also was the military base dentist in Duluth, Minn. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City, and the Evergreen Club. He enjoyed golf and model railroads. He graduated from Fordham University in 1944, and from Columbia Medical School. Survivors include sons, Rudolph V. Pino Jr. of New Canaan, Conn., and James B. Pino of Arlington, Texas; daughters, Adrienne P. Gosma of Marietta, Ga., and Susan M. Pino of Stamford, Conn.; brother, Salvatore Pino of Birmingham, Ala.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Joan Pino, in May 2005; sons, Clark and Kevin Pino; and brother, Mario Pino. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Foundation, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. July 24 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. July 25 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Other services and burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be under the direction of William Graham Funeral Home, Rye, N.Y.
