Everett Clark Obituary
He was born Nov. 8, 1922, in Geneva County, Ala., to William Andrew "Bud" and Eva Ethel (Parrish) Clark. He attended school in Hartford, Ala.
In 1942, he joined the Navy and served as a Seabee in Clatskanie and Hawaii. He spent a year in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. Mr. Nelson then worked on the family farm, then returned to Rainier. He worked as a mechanical foreman at Longview Fibre Co. from 1947 until his retirement in 1984.
He married Marjorie F. Lepin on Jan. 2, 1946, in Kelso. She survives him. Also surviving are a son, Michael Clark; a daughter, Patricia Boldenow; two brothers, Wade Clark and Lloyd Clark; two sisters, Pauline Froehlich and Lucille Wood; three granddaughters; and many other relatives.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rainier Community Church of God. Committal service will follow at Green Mountain Cemetery. A reception will then be held at the church.
