Florence Sheldon Obituary

Florence Lee Sheldon, 96, passed away on September 24, 2025, while living in Silver Creek, Washington. Born on September 9, 1929, in Daisy, Oklahoma, she was the youngest daughter in the blended family of Lee R. Renfro and Bertha Renfro. At the age of 12, Florence moved to La Center, Washington, where she developed a love of Washington and the rainy weather. Her life was marked by a spirit of adventure and joyful experiences.

Florence shared 43 devoted years of marriage with her beloved husband, Juel G. Sheldon. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kristi Weaver; her son, Kevin Sheldon; and her granddaughters, Tara Lanphar and Chelsea Sheldon. Her legacy lives on in those who knew and cherished her.

In keeping with Florence's wishes, no formal services are planned. In remembrance of Florence and her late husband Juel, donations may be made to the Juel G. Sheldon Memorial Endowed Scholarship at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
