Gregory Fittro Obituary
Born on November 24, 1959, Greg was a graduate of Kelso High School. He spent the majority of his working life at Gram Lumber, where he built lasting friendships and a reputation for hard work. He also worked at Bob's Sporting Goods. He finished his working career at Cardinal Glass in Winlock.
Greg was a devoted family man whose presence brought warmth and laughter to every gathering. He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Fittro; sons Brock Fittro and Chance Fittro; daughters Kayla Fittro and Destiny Fittro; Grandson Max Hovey; brothers Brad Fittro and Todd Fittro; brothers-in-law Rick Roberson and Randy Roberson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his dear friend Gayla Scott. He held a special place in the hearts of those who affectionately called him "Papa."
He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Jarvis, and father Ted Fittro.
Greg had a bright personality that could light up any room. Known for never missing an opportunity to express his love for others, he was deeply committed to his family. Whether coaching little league baseball and softball or cheering from the sidelines, Greg found joy in supporting the people he loved. His passions included fishing, attending concerts, and following motorsports such as drag racing, motocross, NASCAR, and NFL football.
He was known for his sense of humor and loved to joke around with family members, close friends, and former coworkers alike. His dedication as a father and grandfather was unwavering-he took immense pride in being present for every milestone.
A celebration of Greg's life will be held on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kelso Elks Lodge.
Greg's memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family.
