Jeffra Jean Naze

LONGVIEW - Jeffra Naze, 73, of Longview, WA died at home on January 2, 2024. Jeffra was born October 2, 1950, in Pasco, WA, the daughter of Albert and Gloria Peach. She graduated from North Bend High School in North Bend, OR. Following graduation she moved to Portland, OR to attend Portland Business College and began work at Trinity Episcopal Church upon completing her education. Jeffra subsequently moved to Longview, WA to begin work for the Cowlitz PUD, becoming Administrative Assistant to the General Manager. She retired with 33 years at the PUD.
Jeffra married Walter Naze at the Longview Community Church's Gebert Chapel in 1977. She was the beloved stepmother to four children. She was a wonderful cook, a devoted gardener, and a gracious host. Jeffra enjoyed her luncheons regularly with former PUD co-workers. She loved the outdoors, especially spending time at the Oregon Coast and the Toutle River.
Jeffra was predeceased by her parents; brother, Brad Peach; mother-in-law, Mabel Naze, and husband of 43 years, Walt Naze. She is survived by brother, Doug (Janice) of Bluffton, SC; sister-in-laws, Susan Peach of Longview, WA and Jerilyn Stone (Terry) of Lacey, WA; step-daughters, Kimberly Naze (Lachlan Foss) of Normandy Park, WA and Cara Fite (Chet) of Fair Oaks, CA; step-sons, Christopher Naze and Craig Naze (Christie) of Portland, OR; grandchildren: Brandon Fite (Jenna) of Malibu, CA, Sean Carvey of Seattle, WA, Chase Fite (Alex) of San Diego, CA, Nick Yagley of Denver, CO, Kristen Fite of Sacramento, CA, Jack Naze (Lucy), David Naze, Elizabeth Naze and Hudson Naze of Portland, OR; great-granddaughters, Sophia and Daphne Fite; great-grandson, Baron Fite; nephew, Chris Peach (Amy) of Coos Bay, OR; nieces, Corrie Peach (Derek Mealer) of Myrtle Point, OR, Shannon Bingley (Justin) of Centralia, WA, Katherine Peach (Tyler) of Longview, WA; one great niece and five great nephews.
A celebration of Jeffra's life will be held this summer. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements are by Cascade Northwest at Green Hills Crematory and Cemetery in Kelso. Please sign the guest book at http://www.tdn.com/obits
