Adam Joseph Luippold, 34, of Hudson, died January 17th after an illness. He was born in Worcester and raised in Northborough. Adam leaves behind his loving wife of just over a year, Alissa (Sefton) Luippold and his adoring daughter Evelyn Luippold. He was son of the late Ronald A. Luippold and his widow, Anne Luippold of Webster. He also leaves his mother Kathleen Luippold; in-laws Georgia Brown and Jeff Sefton and his wife Terry. Adam was the youngest of 5 children in his immediate family. He is also survived by a brother Ronald Luippold II of Carver, a brother Robert Luippold and his wife AnaLisa of Sacramento, California; a sister Therese Blake and her husband Patrick of Douglas; a sister Georgianna Luippold of Sacramento, CA., brother Jason Luippold of Jefferson, and a brother Finley Luippold of Webster; a stepsister Elizabeth Nixson and her husband of England; a stepbrother Matthew Goodbrand of England; several cousins, nephews and nieces, and many friends. Adam graduated from Algonquin Regional High School, class of 1998. He most recently worked at the Greendale Mall. Adam was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hikes, photography, and his guitar.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. Northborough. Adam's funeral will be held on Thursday, January 23rd at 10:00 a.m. in Liberty Church, 495 Hartford Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Please omit flowers. Memorial donations may be made to Evelyn R. adam was the first person to walk upto me when I was 9 years old and tell me that my room in the new house I was moving Into with my family used to be his friends room then he said maybe I will be his new friend. My condolences to Adam's friends and family.

Adam and I were friendly in school but we were not close friends. Still, I have very clear memories of him. Mostly I remember his kindness, self-deprecating humor, and that disarmingly goofy smirk I recognize in so many of the candid photos friends have posted on Facebook. Adam was a good guy and It's a comfort to know that lives on with his daughter.

Evie, your dad was a hell of a guy. He was always there for his friends and unflinchingly kind even toward people who weren't always the same in return. And funny too.

Adam you have always been such a bright light in so many lives. Our time at Hillside was made all the better by our talks on life. When Bailey and I would see you at the mall it always brightened our day and made us smile. Both your beautiful wife and precious daughter have suffered a terrible loss in your passing as well as found some peace in knowing that you are home with The Lord. It is so hard to find the words to express how deeply sad we are to learn of Adam's passing. Our daughter Katie grew up with the all 5 of the Pinehaven Luippold kids. Adam and Georgie were regular's at our house or Katie was just a holler away at theirs. Adam knew where to go to get that chain fixed on his bike. "Mr. Jones" (as he called him), had a special spot in his heart for this truly wonderful kid. Adam never missed a birthday party for Katie. Her birthday was two days before Christmas. A curse sometimes to her, but these friends who would in many ways come to "define her childhood" were always there. The Luippold children (all) have to have been most polite kids we have ever met. Kathy, We know that you were blessed with faith in your son finding refuge in heaven. You and yours are in our thoughts and prayers. It was a pleasure to meet Adam's beautiful wife, Alissa and baby daughter not long ago. His love for you showed in his eyes. His spirit will be ever present in Evelyn's smile.
