Alexis Correa Obituary

Alexis Ariel Correa, Sr.

WORCESTER - Alexis Ariel Correa, Sr., 48, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 9, 2017.

Alexis was born in Maricao, Puerto Rico on October 29, 1969, a son of Adaleris (Montalvo) Correa and the late Fidel Correa. He had worked for Winn Management Company for over 20 years where he was a supervisor maintenance mechanic at Hartley Terrace in Webster.

Mr. Correa was a fan of the New England Patriots and enjoyed coaching flag football for the Worcester Men's Flag Football team and for the local little league teams as well. Alexis was an exceptional mechanic and could often be found in his garage tinkering on cars. He also enjoyed fishing, dancing and hosting neighborhood barbeques, where he was able to show off his talents as the "grill master". Above all, family was of the utmost importance to him.

He will be forever loved and missed by his wife Elizabeth Correa; daughters, Tiffany and Sabrina Correa; his grandchildren, whom he called his "sunshine", Elianna Elizabeth Correa and Ariel Nicole Correa; his siblings, Sonia Correa, Racquel Amoros- Correa, Alexandra Martinez, Evelyn Correa, Fidel Correa, Jr., Damien Correa; many adopted sons and daughters; many nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family members.

He was predeceased by his son, Alexis A. Correa, Jr. and his brothers, Guillermo Correa and Elias Correa Sr. Family and friends will honor, remember and celebrate his life by gathering on Thursday, December 14th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 15th at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
