Dear Doris and Penny,
I was so sorry to hear that Alvin had died. Joanne sent me the news, and I want to let you know how much the family will miss him. I told Eli Kalm the news, and he spoke of him so fondly. We all loved him.
Take care of yourselves.

My wife and I will always remember Al with great fondness. We all met in the Worcester County Light Opera Club production of "The Rothchilds" in which I played one of his sons.
He was an inspiration as an actor and a kind and gentle man. He will be greatly missed.
Our deepest sympathies to his wife, Doris and his family.

I was very sorry to hear of Al's passing. He was a lovely man. I enjoyed performing with him in several productions at Worcester County Light Opera, particularly "1940 Radio Hour". He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

We are so sorry to learn of Al's death. He was a valued member of Temple Sinai, to which we also belong. He was active in the temple Hanukkah celebrations and other music events and a wonderful humorous and kind person. We had hoped he would recover from his recent illness and are saddened that he did not.

Al will be missed. He was not only a great guy but a great actor. Al came to the Barre Players in 1988 for the 100th annivgersary of Eugene O'Neill's birth. Al played the father in "Ah, Wilderness!" I played the mother. We had great fun with a great play.
My deepest sympathy to his family.
