MILLBURY - Andrew M. Marble, 36, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his childhood home in Millbury MA on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016 after a 2 year courageous battle with melanoma.

Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of Alan and Kathleen (Flynn) Marble of Millbury, MA.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his loving wife of 2 years Paola (Zuniga) Marble, his brother Charles A. Marble of Atlanta, GA, his aunt Ann Thurlow of Millbury, MA and many cousins. He also leaves his in-laws: David and Yorlenny Start, Victor and Samantha Start, Beyser and Ruth Zuniga and 3 nieces and 2 nephews. In 2002, he received his Bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. He then continued his education receiving his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in Philadelphia, PA in 2005.

Andrew was a member of the bar in PA and NJ and was an attorney at Dilworth Paxson LLP and later Pepper Hamilton LLP in Philadelphia, PA.

Andrew always had a particular interest and understanding of the weather and as a child loved watching the weather channel. He also was interested in anything to do with sports and he was a knowledgeable sports historian. He loved watching college football games on Saturdays with his friend OB. He also played golf in the Clearview Monday Night league and basketball in the Whitinsville Community Center Men's league.

I am glad to have met a kind and easy to talk to person. I enjoyed working with Andrew for 5 years at TM Electronics. I enjoyed the football trivia questions he had on his disk (he knew almost all the answers).

Dearest Kathy, Alan, Charlie and Paola,
Andrew was clearly an incredible young man who experienced so much in such a short life. Cancer sucks in every way! It is so wrong and unfair that he was taken before his time. We are so saddened and sorry for your tremendous loss. There are no words but know you all are in our thoughts, prayers and hearts. I have visions of him in the arms of Auntie Doris, feeling nothing but love. I hope you feel some comfort knowing he's in peace and will live forever in all of you!
With sincere love and wishes always,
Lisa and Stephen

Paola & Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I only knew Andrew for a short time but it was long enough to realize what an amazing man & husband he was. He tried to remain so positive, optimistic, strong & resilient in light of everything he was going through. The love that Andrew & Paola have for one another was evident just by the way they looked at each other & the way they talked about one another. I feel blessed to have known Andrew. My thoughts & prayers are with you all-Paola, Andrew's family & friends.

Andy was a true friend, who touched the lives of all those around him for the better during his too short time here. His intellect and wit were undeniable, and although we didn't see each other as often as I would have liked since law school, I will miss him dearly. I am glad he found happiness and fulfillment in Paola, albeit too briefly. To Paola and the rest of Andy's family, words cannot express how deeply my heart goes out to you for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Andy was truly one of a kind.
