Very sorry to learn of Barbara's passing. She was a very kind and gentle person as well as a wonderful colleague.

Mrs. Scagnelli was a positive influence in my young life, as she really helped shape my love of literature and learning. God bless her and her family.

I remember Barbara (Mrs Scagnelli to us students) as a exuberant teacher. I wrote a lot of poetry in her class, some of which I still have, and continue to write today. My condolences to the family on your loss. Any age is too soon to lose a loved one, but I'm glad she was fortunate enough to beat today's odds into her 80s. All the best wishes to Paul
