Dear Cronin Family, So sorry to hear of Dan´s passing. As Dan´s long time classmate (78) I have many fond memories of him. Mostly, he shall be remembered for the ever-present mischievous twinkle in his eyes, contagious laugh and his genuine, caring heart. I played hockey with him for years and as seniors we were linemates who (mostly) warmed the bench, but had lot´s of laughs doing so. My fondest memories of Dan are actually from when we were adults, getting together for reunions and celebrating life with Jackie and Dan. Dan was a wonderful person with a big heart. He was a smart, passionate friend. He was a good, family guy who I admired and respected. He loved you all deeply! Although he was taken way too soon, his life was lived in exemplary fashion and should be celebrated. I send a heartfelt hug to Jackie and all of your family and loved ones. May Peace and Grace be with you all! I have attached a couple photos from senior year. One was from graduation and the other from a field hockey game which pitted LHS senior boys against the girl´s field hockey team (which the girls prevailed, of course).

Dear Jacquie, Dan´s Children and all the Cronin family.
Word reached us in Florida that Dan died, most likely still railing against the constellation of health issues which never seemed to interfere with his doing, caring and loving the things he was so passionate about like his Cronin family, the practice of law, the town he grew up in and was always a part of.
We feel fortunate to have shared a space on earth together with him. We have such happy memories of our time in Lunenburg.
We send our love, sympathy and virtual hugs.

Hello Jackie. You probably don't remember me. I lived near Clark univ my and Dan's senior year at HC. I think Dan did too and I remember talking to him waiting for the shuttle van. I thought what a good guy and funny too. I remember your smile and his. Sorry for your loss. Take care, Jim Rushford.
