With sympathy to the Moynihan family on the loss of Dan. I was also a Holy Cross classmate of Dan and we ran a platoon in the NROTC unit in our senior year. He was a loyal and dependable shipmate and he always had a positive attitude and a smile on his face. Rest in peace,

Dear Moynihan Family, Dan was a couple years ahead of me at Holy Cross. It was easy for me to connect with him because his father, Big Dan Moynihan, had been my history teacher at Worcester South High School and, along with his wife Mary, friends of my parents from youth. Both men good-humored, Irish proud, and always ready with a warm greeting and encouraging word. Big Dan would load us up with heavy reading assignments and dismiss us with the comment, "Don't talk about me on the bus!" Young Dan had his Dad's amiable personal qualities and unfailing Irish wit. I am grateful for both men's presence in my life.

Dear Jane, Family and Friends,

We are so saddened by the sudden passing of this wonderful, family oriented true Christian gentleman.

Dan always greeted you with a warm, caring smile and ALWAYS spoke with such love, pride and devotion about his wife, children, family members and friends. A mean word from him was NEVER uttered nor ever touched his lips.

A true Irishman he was and loved his alma mater The College of the Holy Cross.

We will truly miss Dan for the rest of our lives and hope and pray that we will meet him again as he rests in eternal peace in Our Lord´s Heavenly Kingdom.

Please find comfort and consolation in reminiscing about Dan´s love for all of you, his life accomplishments and memories of this kind, generous , loving and humbled Man of God.

With deepest sympathy,

Angela and Bernie Dow
