David Trotsky Obituary
AUBURN - David M. Trotsky, 92, of Auburn, died on Friday, January 30th in UMass Memorial Healthcare.
He leaves his wife of 60 years, Ann (Pedone) Trotsky; 3 sons, Steven Trotsky and his wife, Becky of Sudbury, John Trotsky and his wife, Katie of Marblehead, and Michael Trotsky and his wife, Amy of Belmont; a daughter, Dr. Lora Trotsky and her husband, Dr. Andrew Kotin of Shrewsbury; and six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Willis, Alyssa, Maxx, Sarah, and Benjamin. He was predeceased by his brother, Abraham Travers, and by his sisters, Alyce Yessik, Ruth Levy, and Lilyan Sherman.
He was born in Webster, a son of Michael and Sophie (Seder) Trotsky, and lived 43 years in Needham and the past 17 years in Auburn.
He was educated at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He had been a research engineer in the semi-conductor industry.
He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and served in World War II.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 2 PM ON TUESDAY, FEB. 3, AT TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI, 661 SALISBURY STREET, WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. PRIOR TO THE FUNERAL, A VISITING HOUR WILL BE HELD FROM 1 TO 2 PM AT TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI. Following the interment at B'Nai Brith Cemetery in Worcester, Memorial Observance will be held from 4 to 7 PM with a Minyan Service at 6 PM at Temple Emanuel Sinai, 661 Salisbury St., Worcester. Please omit flowers. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.

Dear Ann, We loved having you and Dave as our next door neighbors on Richard Road in Needham -- having wonderful conversations by the garden, tasting your sweet raspberries (thank you again!) and sharing snowplowing chores in winter. my uncle passed Friday .past few years we've crossed paths and connected with caring for him.will help see him off Tuesday.this weekend a young friend who has two adorable little sons . is in hospital as we are crossing fingers she's not presenting with necrosis of the legs.slow Tonite I wish as our home team in the super bowl .a full moon hovers as well as we've been in phase one status on and off here regularly
