I was horrified to learn this devastating news. Was married to her next door neighbor, Linda Marshall, also of Mechanic Street. Thought the world of Deb and her sister Susan, there was "a light" shining in each of them, of which our sun was but the shadow. Have revisited Debbie in thought so often through the years. Loved and Love her precious soul. That person sparkles in my memories of a most precious time. How could she possibly be gone when my wretched heart still beats? This makes no sense to me, there is no rhyme or reason in it. Remember George and Terry, her loving parents, Susan, her dear sister. There are no words of comfort to possibly extend. Anything I write or whisper would be vain and empty; hopeless here, in the midst of this overwhelming sadness. What a terrible loss this! My heart breaks for each of you and for this glorious person we have lost. Deborah Dodd, you remain an incandescent presence on the horizon of my life. I will not forget you. Love to your sweet, indispensable soul. May the Lord bless and keep you, dear, may He give you peace! Amen!
