Duncan MacLean Obituary

Duncan K. MacLean

Worcester - Duncan Karl MacLean, 77, of Worcester, passed away at home on Saturday, August 28, 2021. He was the son of the late, Duncan Paul MacLean and Yvonne (Lariviere) MacLean.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-nine years, Gay (Rocheleau) MacLean; his daughter, Jennifer MacLean her partner Anja Gaiewski; his son, Duncan Paul MacLean and his wife Michelle; his five grandchildren, Gabrielle, Casmir, Thomas, and Izabel Kruczynski, and Mac MacLean; his sister, Patricia Learned of Maine; as well as many extended family and close friends.

Duncan grew up in Shrewsbury and graduated from Shrewsbury High School and Clark University. He worked for Big D/Price Chopper for forty-nine years and was an ASA and USSSA umpire for many leagues and high schools in the Worcester area. He was a longtime member of the Masonic Temple in Worcester and the Worcester County Numismatic Society. He had a love for travel, was an avid collector of all types of 5 cent currency, enjoyed reading books and spending time with his grandkids playing "Papa Wins".

There are no calling hours or funeral services, however a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with family and friends.
