Edward Goulet Obituary

Edward J. Goulet Jr., 46.

SOUTHBRIDGE - Edward James Goulet Jr. "Choppa", 46 of Southbridge, MA passed away suddenly August 5th, 2015 following a brief illness. He leaves behind his father Edward Goulet Sr. and wife Cynthia Goulet; mother Donna Brideau and husband Joseph Brideau; brother Vincent Goulet; sisters Cheryl Brideau, Tammy Wylie, Tina Soderman and Melissa Barrett; children Alisha Goulet, Ashayla Brooks, Joshua Goulet, Chantelle Goulet, Leah Goulet; four grandsons and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Norman and Lucille Goulet; maternal grandparents Treffle and Clara LeBoeuf; great aunt Grace Dohlus and sister Nancy Brideau. Eddie loved the beach, camping and above all else his motorcycle and an open road. He was a tough man with a soft heart. When he fought, he fought hard but when he loved, he loved even harder. He was an anchor in our lives, a rock to lean on and he is already so deeply missed. Calling hours will be Sunday august 9th from 1 to 5 pm at The Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St. North Grafton. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. An online guest book for condolences and to share memories is available at: www.RoneyFuneralHome.com

I am shocked to hear about chopper's passing. He was always a friendly face when he came into the salon for haircuts. May he rest in peace and as they say at Harley Davidson " ride it like you stole it".
Donna, and family, unfortunately I was unable to make it to the wake due to my work schedule. But know my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time

My heart is broken, a good friend has been taken. May you now rest in peace.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, especially his children in which he LOVED so much. May you each take comfort in knowing you have an angel to watch over you and that your father is closer to you now than he ever could have been while he was here.
My condolences to all.

I keep seeing things and hearing things but I still cannot believe that our anchor is gone. I have so many regrets and so many words left unspoken. I love you, Dad.. forever and a day. I promise you there will not be a day that goes by that I won't think of you.

I wish I could wake up from this nightmare...

There is nothing I can say to make this better.... Experience has taught me that. There are no words that can console you as grief is a process....... A very long process..........
