Erin Gale Mary (Tervo) Mojkowski, 53

Berlin - Erin Gale Mary (Tervo) Mojkowski, 53, of Berlin, MA passed Sunday, April 22, 2018, surrounded by her family, fighting pancreatic cancer until her last breath.

She leaves her love and life partner Gina Shepard. She was predeceased in January by her father William H. Tervo, Jr. She is survived by her mom Rowena "Trudy" (Bousquet) Tervo. Her siblings William Tervo III and his wife Michaela, Miki (Michelle Tervo) Patterson and Walter, Sharon (Tervo) Mulligan and fiancé Michael Barry. Her daughters Natasha Mojkowski, Katrina Mojkowski and Lydia (Mojkowski) Patterson and her husband Barry Patterson, Jr. Her nephew Shawn Patterson and his wife April (Smith) Patterson and niece Rebecca Patterson and fiancé Joshua Cipkas as well as many nephews, nieces cousins and friends.

Erin was born in Marlborough and raised in Berlin. She attended Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School and upon graduation enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where she was stationed in Yuma, AZ. She had many families besides her own. She had her early McDonald's family, YMCA family, Sandy Island family and her Hawaiian Norwegian Cruise line family where she worked as a chef.

Erin enjoyed camping, cooking and planning parties. Her last wish was to host the rehearsal dinner for Becca and Josh and to be part of the research to help find a cure for genetic pancreatic cancer.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date.
