Mrs. Barbash was my son's teacher at Temple Beth Am for two years in the mid-70's (he is now 39 years old). He and I both really loved her. And Andrew always felt loved by her - she so clearly thought he was a funny, bright and delightful little boy. We used to go back to see her from time to time - she always remembered us.
I'm so sorry for your loss; I'm so grateful for her and her influence. Shirley McDaniel (formerly Seawell)

Dear Mr. Barbash,
I only met you and your wife once, at a Christmas party several years ago in Washington. The three of us struck up a conversation, and I immediately felt a connection and fondness for you and your wife as we teased Barry and talked about life in general. I remember calling Barry soon thereafter and telling him that I wanted the two of you to move next door to me so that I could see you every day! I will always regret that I did not get a chance to know Mrs. Barbash better. She truly was a lovely, warm woman. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Arthur and Family,
Very sorry to hear of Florence's passing. She was a delightful, warm and caring person. After I had my stroke and was up and about and we saw each other she never failed to inquire about how I was doing in a sincere way. She will be missed.

Dear Arthur and Family,
On behalf of the entire Batzer family I would like to express our condolences on your loss. Florence was one of the kindest most loving people I have had the pleasure to know. We had the pleasure of knowing her both as an educator and as a loving friend of our family. May your memories and the knowledge she is with friends and family such as my father bring you comfort. We wish we could be with you but know that we are in spirit.
David, Terry and the entire batzer family

Barry and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mother, Barry, was so full of love for her family -- I could tell that every time I talked to her on the phone. I know you will miss her dearly and I know that you have many, many wonderful memories of her. May that help get you through your grief.
Sincerely,

To the Barbash family,
Please accept my sadness and thoughts on your behalf. I had taken a leave of absence from work to care for my sick Mother, and she passed on Nov 11. I feel your loss and mine most acutely. I know it has been a long time since I have seen most of you, but I have always had the greatest respect for your family, and I am betting your Mom (Wife) had much to do with how your group has turned out and the values you all possess. Best wishes always, Brian Sanborn

Arthur and Family, We were so sorry to hear about your loss of your beautiful wife, Florence. She was such a special, warm, loving and caring person. Our 2nd son's first nursery school experience was so great because of Florence's special touch. Also both of you were great former neighbors. Our thoughts are with you at this time.
