To Gary's Family~
I was shocked and saddened to read of Gary's passing. I have such wonderful memories of Betty Street! Flashlight tag, hit the bat, cops and robbers, softball games in the "spare lot". I remember feeling so important when I would feed Diane's dog Lucky when the Fishers went on vacation.
Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss. Sounds like he grew up to be a wonderful man - and he was always handsome!

Debbie and Robert-

It is hard to find the right words to express my deepest sypmathy and sorrow for the loss of Gary. He was such a wonderful and special man. I have the sweetest memories of spending time at the house in Charlton with you two. Swimming in the pool(even in 60 degree weather!), the noisy bird, the fireplace, the yummy food and the fun companionship. My sister and I had such a crush on Gary, it was hard to even speak to him he was so handsome! Judy and I had never met a man who was so gorgeous and nice before, he was one of a kind.

Gary took Jay, Judy and myself out in his jeep one night after dinner. We went out off roads near the power lines and it was crazy fun! We just thought Gary was the coolest guy, a real man's man. He truly left such a wonderful impression on each of us, we all thought Gary was the best.

What a wonderful mark Gary made on all the people who were lucky enough to spend time with him. I pray that God and the sweet memories of Gary will ease your hearts during this difficult time.

My love goes out to you Deb and Robert at this most sad time.Gary was such a wonderful person. I remember my girls thought he was so handsome; they wanted to marry him when they grew up. I remember the gun case he made for Jay so long ago. My sisters and I still laugh over the skiing trip to VT when the guys had to use the outhouse. I remeber when Robert was born and how happy you all were to have a son. Gary was too young to leave us.I will keep you all in my prayers and hope all the happy memories will bring you some joy in the days ahead. Love,

I was shocked when I head this sad news from my sister. Just a couple of years ago, I was home with my sons and we were out cruising around with my brother-in-law. Gary was working for him at the time. We drove by the home that Gary was working on at the time. I had a second thought and I asked Kevin to stop so I could say hello and introduce my oldest son. It was great to see him, same great guy, same great smile.

Gary was a very positive male role model for me when I needed one. We shared an enthusiam for firearms. I can remember cranking off a few rounds from my new AK-47 in the lot across from his house. I also remember the thrill of firing his blackpowder rifle. I think back on watching Werewolves of London on this new fangled, expensive piece of high tech machinery called a VCR! At the time it was cutting edge technology. I remember the custom case he made for my SIG pistol and the AK-47. He was a skilled craftsman no doubt with a generous heart.

Debbie and Gary were also stalwart friends of my mom during the difficult times after the divorce. And for that I am eternally greatful.

I pray that God will comfort Debbie and Robert during this tragic time. The world is a poorer place without Gary.

Gary was more than just a brother-in-law to me. He was my brother and my friend. Finding words to express my love for him, and how sorry I am to lose him, is difficult, but the memories will be forever cherished. I pray my sister (Debbi) and nephew (Robert) will hold on to the good memories; they are a glimmer of what has been and will soon be a place of comfort to them and all who have lost him. Gary, you will always be my favorite Gumby. I'll miss you!
Much love and many prayers ~

I have many good memories of my uncle Gary. I remember going to Florida with him, aunt Debbie, and cousin Robert...begging them to take the next day off from going to any parks because it was just so much walking. I remember going into the woods on the ATV and tipping over. And then Gary calling me "he-woman" for taking the heavy ATV off him because he was pinned by the leg. I remember going over their house for Christmas Eve in Charlton. It's all these memories that I will remember and cherish for my life. I miss you uncle Gary and wish you were here with us! Much love!
