A month before my second birthday Gumpy (Hearshell) died. I was the last grandchild to know him. I don't remember much about him but I know the stories. Once he played in a random sand pit outside of McDonalds with me. I sometimes wish I got to know him longer, and make more memories. But even after almost 2 years together we were like best buddies. And I am just so grateful that I got to know him. Even if it was only for a little bit.
