Helen Faye (Johnson) Abbott, 82

MOULTONBOROUGH, NH - For nearly 63 years, Helen was the beloved wife of Dr. Richard Abbott. She was an amazing Mom to Deborah Holmgren and her husband Henry of Worcester, MA, Scott Abbott of Morrisville, VT, and Lynne Francolini of Millbury, MA., and an adored grandmother to Jonathan Maynard, Christopher Maynard and Renee Francolini. She is also survived by brothers Paul Johnson and his partner, David Johnson and his wife, Donna Theriault and her husband, three nieces that she thought of as daughters, Coleen Sorensen, Maureen Chumsae, and Kathy Harris, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn (Faulkner) Johnson Day, Allan Johnson; her sister, Nancy Renaud; and her son, Richard J. Abbott, Jr. She also leaves her much loved furry friends, Josh, Millie and Roxie.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 24th, in the First Congregational Church on the Common, in Sutton, MA. Private Burial will be held in the Pine Grove Cemetery, in Grafton, MA The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Central NH hospice staff for their compassion, kindness and attention given to Helen during her final days.
