Henry Smolinski Obituary

Henry J. Smolinski, 73

Worcester - Henry J. Smolinski, 73, of Worcester died Saturday August 26, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife Elzbieta Fido, his children, Michael Smolinski of Rhode Island and Lara Smolinski of Florida; step children, Andrzej Fido and Jola Matykiewicz both of Poland and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Irene, a daughter Tonia and a son, Henry. Henry was born in Germany and emigrated to the United States as a young child. He was also predeceased by his parents, Alfons and Laura Smolinski.

Mr. Smolinski worked as a machine operator for area manufacturing companies for many years and retired several years ago. He was a devout member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.

The funeral will be held on Friday September 1, 2017 from HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Poland at a later date. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday August 31, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
