Irene (Grabowski) Baronsky, 84
Worcester - Irene (Grabowski) Baronsky, 84, of Worcester went home to be with the Lord on Saturday August 17, 2013 while at the Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence. "Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me" Psalms 23:4 Her husband of 52 years, Boleslaus "Bill" Baronsky died in 2001.
She leaves two daughters, Christine and her husband Paul Lussier of Maine, and Patricia Fulmer of Massachusetts and her partner Michael Pace; four grandchildren, Joseph and his wife Yuko, Timothy, Daniel and his wife Holly, Anne and her husband Benjamin, three great-grandchildren, Katherine, Keagan and Colby and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Henry Grabowski and a sister, Eugenia "Jennie" Bandilla. Irene was born in Worcester, a daughter of Martin and Marianne (Witowski) Grabowski and has lived here all of her life.
Mrs. Baronsky was a data entry clerk for 13 years at the Comm. of Massachusetts Dept. of Revenue and retired in 1992. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
We wish to thank Elizabeth for the wonderful care and loving support she gave to our mother. She was truly a blessing from God. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of the care providers at the Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence. Their comfort and gentle care management was a blessing to not only our mom, but also to her family as well.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, August 21 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
