Irene Peters Obituary
Her husband of fifty years, Ralph S. Peters, Jr. died in 2002. Irene is survived by her two daughters, Susan P. Cirigliano and her husband, Vincent, and Heidi Peters Biehl and her husband, Donald all of Northborough; 5 grandchildren, Alexia, Vincent and Domenic Cirigliano of Northborough and Elizabeth (Liz) and Donald Biehl of Northborough.
Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Maria (Rot) Rost.
Irene was raised in Poland and Vienna, Austria and came to the U.S., following WWII, in 1950. She worked as an X-Ray Technician for the former Massachusetts Memorial Hospital in Boston and then for the Circle Manor Nursing home in Brighton as a Nurse's Aid for many years. She was a private woman who was dedicated to her work, family and friends. Above all, Irene was a devoted mother and grandmother.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, August 30th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Columbkille Church, 321 Market Street, Brighton, MA. 02135. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 29th, 2007 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., followed by a Service of Remembrance at 8:00 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street (Rte. 20) Northborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1818, Memphis, TN 38101. For online condolences or directions please visit:
