James A. Ludovicz, 66
NORTH DIGHTON - James A. Ludovicz, 66 years old, died suddenly in his office at work in Hopedale, on April 10, 2012. Born in Dighton son of the late Jule and Anela (Marnik) Ludovicz. Jim was a 1964 graduate of Dighton Rehoboth High School and also a graduate of Roger Williams School of Engineering. He attended West Dighton Christian Church, was a former trustee and was on the cemetery committee. He was a troop leader of Troop 45 in Dighton. He was a member of the Society of Plastic Engineers, a member of the Somerset Sportsman Club. For the past 6 years he was the General Manager of REC Manufacturing Corp., in Hopedale, MA. He enjoyed target shooting, motorcycles, fishing, yard work, sailing, the ocean and woodworking.
He is the husband of Teresa " Terri" ( Lambert) Ludovicz and father of Adam Ludovicz both of North Dighton. He is the cousin of Joseph Ludovicz and his wife Jeannine of Assonet and Joanne Clifford of Dennis. Jim is the brother in law of Joan Del Cogliano of FL, Richard Lambert and Barbara of NJ, Alice Briere of Attleboro, Barbara Sharrow of FL, Irene McDonough of Franklin and Ann Marie Ignashner and Jim of Smithfield, RI and he is also the uncle of several.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, April 16, 2012 in the West Dighton Christian Church, 2767 Horton Street, North Dighton, MA., at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours on Sunday from 3-7 PM in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave, (Route 138 South) Taunton. Interment to follow the service directly behind the Church. Donations in his memory may be made to the West Dighton Christian Church Memorial Fund; 2767 Horton St,. North Dighton, MA 02764.
