Janet Crowley Obituary

Janet Meyer Crowley, 89

Worcester - Janet Meyer Crowley, RN, BA, MA, CAGS, LICSW, died Friday October 14. She leaves behind her 5 children John and his wife Marilyn, Jimmy and his wife Alyce, Mary Biliouris and her fiancé Wayne, Robert and his partner Lisa and Carolyn Lotsbom and her husband David, 10 grandchildren, 3 great granddaughters and a brother, Edwin Meyer.

She was a Registered Nurse, Licensed Registered Social Worker & Psychotherapist.

Mrs. Crowley was a graduate of St. Vincent School of Nursing and Anna Maria College and held 2 Bachelor's degrees, 2 Masters and CAGS. She also graduated from The Personal Development Institute and John Roberts School of Modeling. She was in Who's Who for her accomplishments in poetry. She won many prizes in flower decorating and literary contributions. She was a lifelong member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She loved astrology, reading and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren who she loved deeply and was so very proud of their accomplishments. Mrs. Crowley was a member of The Greendale YMCA and Charter member of the "Water Lilies" and was active in their social activities.

Her love for animals came with the arrival of the family dog Sandy. She brought much joy and happiness to her every day.

She will be sadly missed by her children and grandchildren and the many happy times they spent together.

There are no calling hours.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 12:30 at Blessed Sacrament Church on Pleasant St. in Worcester.

Donations may be made to Anna Maria College.

My Mom wanted to be remembered to you All. She and your Mom were grads of St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing - a bond that forever held these many woman together. Blessed Sacrament was where we grew up until the mid- 60's. SO many great memories there too. Your Mom was GREATLY loved by SO many.
