Jerome Gedrites Obituary
WOONSOCKET, RI - Jerome H. Gedrites, 83, of Woonsocket, died Friday, September 30, 2016, in Mt. St. Rita Health Centre, Cumberland. Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph Anthony and Elizabeth (Lawn) Gedrites.
Mr. Gedrites was a graduate of Worcester State College. He was power plant chemist for 43 years for the former New England Electric System, retiring in 1995. He was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church. Mr. Gedrites was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus.
He leaves a wife, Kristen Jarrett of Woonsocket; a son, Joseph Gedrites of Lehigh Acres, FL; two daughters, Lucy Gedrites of Stoughton, MA, and Ann Gauthier of Westminster, MA, and three grandsons.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016 beginning with visitation at 10 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Avenue, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. A private burial will be held in Spencer, MA.
