John Denine Obituary
CONOVER, NC - Beloved husband and father John F. Denine died unexpectedly on March 1, 2014 in Conover, NC. John is survived by his wife of 43 years, Beverley Worden Shore Denine, of Conover NC. He was born in Marlboro, MA, son of John Joseph Denine and Mildred Langley Denine. He attended Marlboro Grammar School and Worcester Trade School. He served honorably in World War II as an Army veteran and retired from General Motors in Framingham MA as the Safety Director in 1979. A former resident of Shrewsbury MA, he moved to Conover NC in 1980 after retiring. His hobbies were hunting and fishing and he enjoyed science and technology. Three brothers, Douglas Denine, Hilton Denine and Dr. E. Paul Denine predeceased him.
He is also survived by two sons Valmore F. Denine Sr. and Valmore F. Denine Jr.; three daughters, Patricia Urato of Leominster MA, Marcia Denine of Vineyard Haven MA, and June Horan of Leominster MA.; two step sons Robert K. Shore of Holliston MA and LTC (retired) Richard A. Shore of Stafford VA.
Following cremation, burial will be in Conover City Cemetery Conover, NC. According to his wishes there will be no funeral or gravesite services.
