Webster - formerly of Newton, suddenly Nov. 7, 2013. Beloved first son of the late John J. and Frances P. (Clancy). Survived by his beloved Brother Joseph and Sister Noreen. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Andrew J. Magni & Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Rt. 16, Newton, Monday, Nov. 11, from 4-7PM and again on Tues morning at 8AM, before proceeding to St. Patrick Church, 212 Main St, Watertown for a Funeral Mass at 9AM. Burial St. Patrick Cemetery, Belmont St., Watertown. In lieu of flowers, gifts in John's name should be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St, Framingham 01701

Johnny D, You were are great friend. Any time we went to the lake on "off season", we let you know, so that you would keep an eye out. Even if we didn't, you knew the NJ plates meant we were there! The day you moved in, we provided you a dinner, which I will never forget…ribs, corn on the cob, salad. "Welcome to the neighborhood!" Many years have passed since then. I wish you had made it to Florida. Your plan! But Lyla Kay came and changed all that! We left Webster. Life moved on…. You will always have a special place in our hearts to me and my family! Rest in peace, my friend.

Johnny, words can not express what a loss this brings to our lives. Almost daily our dogs run to your house for a treat, our cat expects a visit from his best friend, and our daughter runs with open arms into yours as soon as she sees you. You were such an important part of our lives. You were the first to know when we got engaged. You met us in the driveway when we brought our daughter home from the hospital for the first time and we all walked into the house together as a family. You stood by our sides as we baptized our little girl. Our family and friends grew to love you and think of you as family too. Only days ago Lyla brought you a rock that she painted and you treated it like a trophy. Thank you for all of the joy you brought to us. We will miss our neighbor, our friend, and Lyla's "nono". May you rest in peace and be surrounded by the loved ones who have gone before you. I know with all my heart that you will be looking after us.
