John, thank you for 14 years of some of the best times of my life. We had wonderful adventures together riding our bikes everywhere. Die hards we were. From the mountains of South Dakota to riding around the back roads in Vermont in the rain. Thank you for the memories and being the best husband to me & dad to my kids. You will be missed by many people but I think you know that. There will always be a special place in my heart with your name on it! Rest in Peace and Ride Free my friend. See ya next time around.

Ride On, Big John...

My sympathy to John's family and friends. I had the pleasure to work with John several years back - he was one of those people who always brightened my day, making the work day more tolerable. He talked a lot about his wife Liz and his kids and it was clear how much his family meant to him.

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.”

Bless you all.

John was one of the best friends I ever had or ever will have. Him and his WHOLE FAMILY were a second family to me. His Mother was my second Mom next to my Mom and I still call her Ma to this day. John and I did so many things together over the years. Fishing, riding motorcycles, partying and traveling together, working, Etc. There are just to many things to list that we did together. My kids also will miss him too. He was my BROTHER and I am going to miss him dearly. So ride the wind now like you rode your bike and I will see you in the next world.

I always picture my Uncle John as a boisterous character with a red beard and long hair. My summers spent at Lake Chauncy are filled with memories of him--the boat rides and especially the Harley rides. I am so grateful I got to see him marry the woman of his dreams. I picture him, wherever he is, on a Harley, wind in his hair, and followed by the various dogs he's had over the years. Say hi to Gramps for me...

Hey baby bro..Chachi and I just left you and are so blessed to have had the chance to hug you, and kiss your beautiful face, whisper in your ear, and tell you good bye- while you sleep eternally. You looked so peaceful, and pain free. Thank you for being the best father my kids never had, and for teaching my son what it means to be a good man.I will always remember how we were there for each other, no matter what. You looked great in your DT vest. Slide on into heaven, dude, and show them how to make a fan belt out of shoe laces. You are so loved.

John was a very loving and outgoing man. He has been in my life since i was 4 or 5 years old, every memory i have has him in it. He never thought of us as his step children...we were his children. I dont think he fully understood how much that meant to us. That was just John. As he would say,"just a good egg". I will cherish our memories forever, from hanging on the boat to all the swapmeats we went to. He along with my mother made me the woman I am today. Although he's gone I can rest easy knowing he is at rest and safe with his father and brother and that brings a smile to my face. Thanks for being my dad and having such an important role in my life.
Rest easy big guy Ride free

Hearts are aching here in Hawaii. We've lost our son, brother, uncle, cousin... You will never be forgotten - at the beach with toes in the sand thinking of you - feel your presence and know you got here ASAP like you told Mom you would be. Motorcycles roared all day long Sunday 12/2/12, toy run, in your honor. 'You left those who love you for a ride in the sky and when we hear thunder we'll know that's you riding by'. Aloha, your Mom and family
