Joyce P. (Cook) Mardirosian Olson, 76

Princeton - Joyce P. (Cook) Mardirosian Olson, 76, died peacefully on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, Worcester. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Edith (Johnson) and the late Earl Cook and lived in Holden for many years before moving to Princeton 25 years ago.

She is survived by her son, Glenn Mardirosian and his wife, Christine of Oakham; her daughter, Sandra Nason and her husband, Henry of Hubbardston; her step daughters and their families, Sharon Dunn of Worcester, Sue Hudson of Holden and Sandi Calcia and her husband, Johnny of Princeton; her long time companion, Donald Mardirosian; her grandchildren, Joseph Nason and his wife, Jessica, Daniel Nason and his wife, Jennifer, Joshua Nason, Rebecca Wilkie and her husband, Ross, Timothy Mardirosian and his wife, Margaret, Nicholas Mardirosian and his wife, Heidi and Patrick Mardirosian; and three great grandchildren, Owen, Edmund and Samuel Nason. Joyce was predeceased by her father, Earl Cook in 1989, her first husband, Allen Mardirosian in 1987 and her husband, Edmund Olson in 2006.

Joyce graduated from Wachusett High School with the class of 1960. She was a life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she will be dearly missed by many close friends. Joyce dedicated her life to caring for her family. She loved to travel and had particularly enjoyed her trips to Florida and the Caribbean. Above all she cherished being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial calling hours from 10 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service on Saturday, September 8th at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Sky Hill Rd., Boylston, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA 01602-3213.
