Keith Clark Obituary

Keith F. Clark, 83, of Allen Lane, Melvin Village died Tuesday, October 16, at Mountain View Nursing Home in Ossipee, NH.

Mr. Clark was born in Medford, MA October 12, 1924, son of the late Charles and Helen (Lewis) Clark. He has lived in Melvin Village for the past 20 years and had vacationed there for many years, previously living in Westboro, MA.

He graduated from Weymouth High School Class of 1942 and attended Bentley College. During WWII, he served his country in the 734 Field Artillery with the United States Army landing on Normandy at Utah Beach.

In 1985, he retired as a Department Head from Mass. Electric and New England Service Company where he worked as an accountant. Mr. Clark was a member of the Siloam Masonic Lodge A.F & A.M., United Commandery #21 in Norwood, MA, Neponset Valley Royal Arch, past Potentate of Mahed Grotto in Dedham, MA, member of Bektash Temple in Concord, NH. and the Melvin Village Community Church.

Predeceased by a brother Charles Clark Jr.; he leaves his wife of 60 years Mildred (Dodge) Clark of Melvin Village; a son, Scott Clark of Melvin Village; 3 daughters: Heather and her husband Mark Smith of Westboro, MA, Meredith Stanley of Melvin Village, Laura Clark of Wolfeboro, NH; a sister, Elizabeth Newcomb of Dennis, MA; a granddaughter, Tiffany LaPreste and 2 great-grandchildren: Andrew and Alysha.

A private burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Haverhill, MA. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, October 20 at the Melvin Village Community Church.

Donations may be made to the Adult Day Care at Huggins Hospital, South Main St., Wolfeboro, NH 03894.

The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
