Leonard Prefontaine, 95

FISKDALE - Leonard Prefontaine, 95, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2021 in Chestnut Hill of East Longmeadow Nursing Home.

He is predeceased by his wife of 66 years Irene F. (St.Martin) Prefontaine. He leaves a son Arthur G. Prefontaine of Brookfield; 2 grandchildren Anissa and Korey Prefontaine and many nieces. He was predeceased by a daughter Elaine.

Leonard was born in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Joseph and Mattie Prefontaine. He lived most of his life in East Brookfield. Leonard worked at Flexcon in Spencer for over 25 years until he retired. He was a member of the Auburn Sportsman Club and enjoyed the outdoors.

A graveside service for Leonard will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11am in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery in Spencer. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his name to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, PO Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515. Arrangements are under the care of Pillsbury Funeral Home, 3 West Brookfield Rd. Brookfield.
