Your family was an always will be an inspiration to the people that grew up around you. I used to believe that it was not possible for people to care about others the way you did, and you gave me hope. You also provided me with an opportunity to discover myself, and to accept and love the individual I was becoming. Most importantly, you expressed your love for me and never stopped. For that, I am and always will be eternally grateful and awed by the fact that I have been lucky enough to have you grace my life.

One week, that's all we ever had with her, yet what a week it was! That week spent in Cabo for Matt and Jamie's wedding was such a blessing to us, because we got to know Lil, Jake, and the Trainor family so well. She was full of life, love, and joy that special week. Please know that we are deeply saddened by the loss of this remarkable woman, wife, mother, and friend....

Dear Jake and Family, It has been many years since I saw Lillian. We worked together at Fairlawn. Lillian touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her goodness and kindness will be remembered by all. She was an incredible advocate for the elderly and less fortunate; always doing something kind and good!
May your loving memories be sustained in faith and her everlasting legacy.

Dear Mr. Trainor,

The last time I saw Lillian was 48 years ago when I was a young X-ray student at Burbank Hospital. She was so kind to me. I can still see her beautiful smile and sparkling eyes as I would pass by her office on my way to the coffee shop for our student break. Or I would pass her in a hallway on one of the floors. She also gave me many a ride home to Clinton on a Friday night if I needed one. And once in awhile, she would also give me a ride back to school on Monday morning. Lillian was wonderful to me! I was only 18 years old at the time but I have never forgotten her. Being busy raising my own family, I'm sorry to say I had lost track of Lillian but when I saw her obituary in this morning's paper, it brought wonderful memories of her and her many kindnesses right back to me. I am so sorry for your family's loss. I hope Lillian did not suffer. I will never forget her.

Sincerely,
Mary (Kilcoyne) McNally
