Lisa Fleming Obituary
WORCESTER - Lisa Carkin Fleming passed on Nov. 5th 2015 after a prolonged battle with cancer. She was a proud, active member of the Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe. She leaves a sister, Carol Simoneau (Carkin), her husband Robert Simoneau and her daughter Melanie Brown. Her brother Joseph Carkin, her nephew, Wesley; two daughters, the youngest, Katherine Fleming and her oldest Stacia Fleming, along with her partner Michael Trombly, their children Scarlet and Max Trombly and many cousins. She's preceded by her parents Irene and Albert Carkin and her sister Denise. Lisa always lived for her family first and was selfless to the end. Though her time with us was much too short, her legacy will remain and her presence will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. There will be a celebration of her life for all who wish to join at the Quinsigamond Post No.318 American Legion on 180 Greenwood Street Worcester, MA 01607 from 6-10 pm Thursday Nov. 12th. There will be a private service on Martha's Vineyard for family on Friday. If you'd like to send arrangements, call or text 774-289-8962 to make plans.
