Keane, 50
HOLDEN - Lisa M. (Libuda) Keane, 50, of Holden entered into rest at her home on Sunday, March 1st following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Worcester she was the daughter of Richard and Pauline (Ziemba) Libuda. She graduated from Burncoat Senior High School. Lisa was employed for many years by Worcester Endodontics where she will be greatly missed.
Lisa will forever be remembered by her loving husband of 20 years, Joseph M. Keane, her father, Richard B. Libuda, of Ormond Beach, FL; her brother, Jeffrey Libuda, of Paxton; her sister, Debi Libuda, of Newbury; her stepson, Sean M. Keane, of Worcester, and her niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Pauline (Ziemba) Libuda, and her brother, Richard M. Libuda.
Lisa was a fantastic cook and an avid gardener. She was a nurturer of all things - flowers, birds, and the ones she loved. She enjoyed hosting parties for her family and friends. She also loved relaxing by her pool, watching golf and the Patriots games on Sundays, taking trips to the beach, and spending an occasional night at the casino. During her extended illness she never gave up hope. Lisa continued to be a source of strength, love, generosity, and humor. She would remind everyone to 'live life to the fullest'.
Calling hours are Thursday, March 5th from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m at O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Her funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 6th at 10:00 a.m. in OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS CHURCH, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or contributions made to the Visiting Nurse Association, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.

I saw Lisa at her brothers calling hours just a short time ago. She looked so good and she was so positive about the future. I know the Libuda family and all their friends will always remember Lisa and Rick and carry our fond memories of both forward. We loved them and will always remember the good times that we had.

I am so sad to hear of Lisa's passing. She was always so full of life and laughter!! Her beautiful soul will be missed! Know that she is in a better place with no pain, only peace and love. Praying for strength for all her loved ones. May God rest her soul.

Lisa fought this horrible disease until the very end with strength, hope and courage! There were times that she just simply amazed me. We pushed each other through treatment. I'm going to miss Lisa at work. One of the last things lisa said to me was "your mother lied to me...she told me I would be here forever". My mom passed from cancer in November '14. I told Lisa to kick her in th behind for me and she looked at me and said your mom and I will be waiting for ya at the casino when it's your turn! So to that I say. I'll see you both someday! I'm so sorry for your loss. You may or may not remeber me. I worked with Lisa 4 yrs and left 2010. However you may remember seeing me at Dana Farber with my sister Sue who passed Jan 2014 . You both stopped and talked it was Lisa first day of treament and one of my sisters last. My heart goes out to you and your family . My thoughts and prayers are with you.
