Got a new puppy, Marcus. You would have loved him. I'll talk to him now on my walks - but it's certainly not the animated conversation I miss so much with you. I hope there is such a place where that will happen again someday. Think of you often.

I still think if Marcus every night I walk my dog. That´s the time we would chat on the phone about things great and small, and plan great adventures. I deeply miss his intelligence, wit, and genuine caring about what was going on in my life. I hope there is that space where I will know him again.

So sad to hear of Marcus’ passing. I got to know him on my many visits from Toronto to NYC as we both worked for the same company, ITG. As others have said he was a kind person and an old soul. We will miss him

We were shocked to learn of Marcus’s passing. We were looking forward to possibly seeing him before the year ended. Marcus worked with my husband at ITG, and became close friends with our entire family. He had a soft spot especially for our daughter, Sela. When she was little, she mispronounced his name and called him mucus. He didn’t mind at all. Every time we were in New York, the highlight was visitIng Marcus. From riding in a helicopter over the Hudson, visiting Freedom Tower, the Frick, Central Park, the Ronald Reagan Library, the Getty, hiking the tide pools in Palos Verdes, and countless more, Marcus was always fascinating to listen to, and fun throughout any excursion on both the West and East Coasts. We also just hung out a lot, he was part of the family. We will miss him dearly, especially at Halloween as we remember him dressing up as an M&M to escort the children trick-or-treating. Always up for anything and full of wit and humor I especially will miss our conversations every time I go out to walk my dog, which is when I would usually call. We cannot even fully absorb his loss. Our heartfelt condolences to the family and Ramsey- We never had the opportunity to even meet, which now seems so incredible that we have known Marcus this long but never met his loved ones. If you wish to reach out to us we would be honored.

I am heartbroken to hear this news. Far too young for this man. He was elite in his craft and it was an honor to work with him. He will be dearly missed by all he touched.

Sad to have heard this. Too young. Marcus was a dedicated professional with a good heart. He will be missed.

Our deep conversations about life, love, and gramma and papa are already missed. You were truly a shining star! I will miss you forever, but you will never leave my heart.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Marcus’ death. Even at 15 he was an old soul, sophisticated beyond his years: traveling alone to explore Paris and its environs while spending his sophomore summer with family friends. He was inquisitive, sensitive, and deeply thoughtful. For several years following his graduation from St. John’s, I would arrive home on the last day of school to find a large box containing a magnificent bouquet of flowers . He rarely signed his name to the enclosed card but penned two or three
words to let me know who the sender was. Same sky, Marcus. Rest In Peace and eternal joy.
