Mark Matthew Obituary

Mark A. Matthew, 61

Santa Ana, Ca/Berlin - Mark A. Matthew, 61, of Santa Ana, CA, formerly of Berlin, MA, passed away on January 18. He is survived by his husband, Richard Sanchez of Santa Ana, Ca; his mother, Mary Ellen Matthew of Worcester; his four brothers, Paul, Glenn, Gregg and Todd and several nieces and nephews.

Mark attended Berlin schools and graduated from Assabet Valley Regional High School in culinary arts. Later in life, he earned a BA from the University of Phoenix. He worked at the former Train Stop in Berlin and the former Guaranty Bank in Worcester. After moving to California, he worked for IBM and Vans.

Mark and Rico were the fun uncles who took their nieces and nephews for Chinese food while in Massachusetts and were gracious hosts to family and friends visiting in California.

Matthew family I'm so sorry for your loss. Mark was always fun to be around. He was kind, loving and sincere. I just reconnected with him back on fall. And sadly he's gone. We just never know how much time we have. God bless all of you.
