Just read in the Lunenburg Ledger of Mary's passing. When I lived in Lunenburg, I couldn't wait for spring because I knew Violette's Stand was going to open. Going there and seeing Mary's smiling face was very special. She made everyone feel so welcome. Thoughts and prayers to Dick and his family.
Sincerely, Bob & Margherite Okerman

Dick, Steve, Stephanie, Breda and Garyth, We share in your families sadness and will miss Mary much. We loved seeing her outside buzzing and speaking with so many who stopped to visit over the many years. Our fruits and veggies were always sweeter with her conversation; we were not just shopping, we were sharing in the life of our neighborhood. We will miss her as our neighbor. Peace to you,
The Carbone Family

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Violette. My family has been customers to Dicks Market Garden for almost 30 years. Mary was always so sweet and kind to every person, especially the children and young people who visited. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She was a lovely soul.

Dick, sorry to hear of your loss. Didn't see Mary that often over these many years but she always impressed me as a great wife and mother. I wish the best for you and your family in the future.
