Michael R. Deppe, 27
STOW - Michael R. Deppe, 27, formerly of Stow, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 30, 2012. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Emma Hoye; his mother, Catherine (Novotny) Grayzel and her husband Roy; his sister, Jessica Deppe and her son Kenneth, all of Lancaster. He leaves his step-mother, Mary Deppe of Middletown, NJ; step-sisters, Debra Reinig, Sheryl McGlynn and Lisa Deppe, all of Brick, NJ; his companion Nikhol Harwood of Worcester; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends, including his dog Theo. He is preceded in death by his father, Gunther R. Deppe and beloved grandparents Rudolph and Louanne Novotny.
Michael was born in Long Branch, New Jersey and relocated with his family at a young age to Stow, where he attended local schools. He was educated at St. John's High School in Shrewsbury, serving as a member of the varsity hockey team and as a representative for Model United Nations. Mike attended Framingham State College and was currently employed as a sales representative for the Diamond Auto Group in Auburn. He was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and devoted fan of the New York Jets and New York Rangers. Michael most cherished his daughter Emma, he enjoyed time spent with family and friends and was rarely seen without a smile on his face.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 7PM in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Calling hours will be held prior to services on Monday from 4 until 7 PM. Burial will later be held privately in Eastwood Cemetery, Lancaster. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Michael R.
