Joanne, I am so sorry for your loss of Mike. He was a great guy to grow-up with in West Fitchburg. We made many memories together and those memories have lasted my entire life. Even though he was a couple of years older than me he never let that impact our friendship in any negative way. Simply put, he was one heck of a nice guy.

Joanne, I'm sorry for your loss. Mike was a great guy to be growing-up with in The West. Together we created many memories in those days, memories that have lasted my lifetime. Even though Mike was a couple of years older than me, he never allowed that to come into play in a negative way. Simply put... Mike was an all-around good guy.

Joanne, Shawn, and Katie,
I have very fond memories Mike (playing catch with me when I needed it, letting me pitch during a Tigers game when Wes wasn't there, building the absolute best ever sledding hill in the blizzard of '78, letting us sit on the open convertible top instead of the seat of the VW, and just being a great guy). He was always good to me and I am terribly sorry for your loss.
My sincerest condolences,
Jay Murray

Sorry for the loss of a husband, soulmate, father, and friend to all who knew him. He played the hand he was dealt with dignity, grace, and seldom a complaint. We will all cling to those memories of him providing 'comic relief' at various family gatherings. Rest in peace. Job well done.
