Nathaniel Thibault Obituary
He leaves his wife of one year, Beth J. (Drugge) Thibault, a former resident of Lancaster; and his brother, Phillip M. Thibault of Fitchburg. He was the son of the late Kim M. Thibault. He was born on June 26, 1984 in Concord and was a graduate of Nashoba Technical High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on April 19, 2006 as a 74D Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Specialist and attended Basic and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard, Wood, Missouri. On November 7, 2006, Nathaniel was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 110th Chemical Battalion (Technical Escort) as a Chemical Operations Specialist. He graduated from the Technical Escort course in December of 2007 at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. His awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.
Those whom knew Nathaniel were blessed by his optimistic spirit and have many great memories of his spontaneous adventures. Even though Nathaniel was taken from us so very early, he will live a lifetime in our hearts. He is loved and will be greatly missed by countless friends and surrogate families.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 28th, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Rd., Sterling. The funeral service for Nathaniel will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29th, in the First Church in Sterling, 6 Meeting House Hill Rd., Sterling. Burial will follow in the Shirley Village Cemetery, Shirley.

Although I never got the chance to meet you, I do hope that I one day will be able to, not sure how, but one day I do believe I will. I'm making a video game, I think you would really like it, you're in it too! King Nathaniel, sounds like a pretty cool character doesn't it?

Dear Phil,
I can't begin to tell you how saddened I am by Nathaniel's death. I have such beautiful memories of you and him as you entered Wonderful World of Children each morning. You were the first at school each day with your sweet and precious working Mom, Kim. She loved you with all of her heart and in turn you and Nathaniel shared your love with me, WWC, and the world. The memory of your brother's smiling face, the way he always pushed his glasses up to see me when I was talking, the never ending exhuberance on the playground, and how much joy he brought to everyone he met will live on in my heart forever. You were a very kind, compassionate, and loving brother. I am sure that never changed. Please know that I, John, Shane, and Ryan send their sympathies to you, Nathaniel's wife, and your extended family. I still can't get over this. I remember the first time I met him. I can't believe it at all. You are such a sweetheart and will always be missed. All the memories I have with you I won't forget. Just wish we kept in touch. Watch out for us. See you up there.

I met Nathaniel at his Mom's birthday/go away party he was always making people laugh and was right there for his family. God took Nate much to soon but now he will be with Kim and they will walk and laugh together again. My thoughts go out to Phil and his family and to Nate's wife and family. He was and always will be missed.

I knew Nathaniel through my childhood at Lura White and at Nashoba tech. He was a friend of my older sister Jenn. He had a great personality and his ambition gives me the strength to do everything i can because you never know when your time as come. I will miss you and hope you the best in your next life.

Nate, wow what a shock still. I am really missing ya big guy. You always had a kind heart and def. was a nice guy to all. I remember when in middleschool and freshman yr. you,me,devin would hang out at my house and stay for supper. My mom loved cooking for you too. I was Nathaniel's first grade teacher and totally enjoyed watching him learn and grow. Memories of him make me smile. I am so glad that he was doing well in his career and family and I am so sorry that his life was so short. My thoughts are with those he left behind.

Nathaniel was a student of mine back some years ago at Lura White. I remember his effervescent personality, his quick wit and engaging laugh. Nothing in life was too anything for Nathaniel; nothing was too hard, too challenging, too serious, too much. He rose to every challenge and did it the entire time while smiling!
This world suffers a great loss of a bright and shining star who brought sunshine and laughter wherever he went.

I will miss your calls, you always kept me entertained as I was driving to the gym and while doing dishes. We will tell your nephew how wonderful his uncle was and how excited you were for his birth and how you thought his name was perfect. Us Thibault's are small in number and now we are smaller, life is just so unfair, give your mom hug for me and hopefully she greeted you with congo bars.
