Norman Theberge Obituary

Norman W. Theberge, 77, of Northbridge died Thurs. May 29 at home after an illness.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ann Marie (Caouette) Theberge; a son, Dr. James Theberge of Cape Elizabeth ME; 2 daughters, Christine Theberge-Taft of Medfield and Francine Theberge of Wayland; 3 stepchildren, Paul Boisvert of Douglas, Suzan Boisvert and Vicki Boisvert both of Preoria Ill.; 8 grandchildren, Nathaniel and Alec Theberge of Maine, Caleb and Jillian Taft of Medfield, Emma Theberge of Wayland, Benjamin and Bryan Boisvert of Douglas and Ian Gymer of Preoria. Ill.; and several nephews and nieces.

Born in Northbridge on April 6, 1931, he was the son of Hilaire and Aldea (Query) Theberge and lived in Northbridge all of his life. Mr. Theberge was a tool and dye maker for 25 years at Millbury Engineering. He later worked at Fenwall Corp. in Ashland, retiring in 1997. He was educated at Northbridge High School, Class of 1949 and Worcester Boys Trade. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was a member of St. Peter's Church. After his retirement he enjoyed woodworking.

According to his wishes funeral services will be private. His family would like to thank VNA Care Hospice and Fallon's Dr. Wayne Trotter, Dr. Mary-Jo Farmer and Dr. Neeta Shah for their compassionate care during Norman's illness. Donations may be made to St. Peter's Church Box 446 Northbridge MA 01534.
