It is with a heavy heart that I learned of the loss of such a special man. Lots of memories of Mr. Tivnan and the moments spent in the Tivnan household w Christina that usually involved laughter or advice! Thinking of you all and sending prayers today. X

To the entire Tivnan family,
As neighbors we have gotten to know Paul, Dot and family members since we moved into a home across the street many years ago.
Paul was a friendly neighbor always willing to say hello and share a conversation. We hope you take comfort in knowing that he lived a rich and full life. We are sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

I'm glad to have been lucky enough to know him. From the day Katie introduced me he's treated me like family and as time went on I came to benefit from the life coaching so familiar to everyone else.
All of my grandparents passed away and yet I feel like I've just lost my grandfather as well.

My favorite high school memories are in some way connected to Coach T. Camaraderie and lifelong friendships forged through 5:00 AM alarms for 6:00 AM hockey practices, loading into cars or buses to get travel to games, hanging around coach T's little office at the Doherty High gym... poking fun at everything, and laughing til our sides hurt at the various idiotic things we'd get ourselves into in high school. Mr. T was always ready to laugh along with us - or give us a good kick in the butt when we needed it.
I was fortunate enough to remain in contact for some years, as he became a chiropractic patient of mine as well.
Wonderful, wonderful guy who led a long and full life. I'll miss you, my friend. Godspeed Mr. T
