Polly Gauthier Obituary

Polly Gauthier

NORTH BROOKFIELD - Polly (Crabtree) Gauthier died in her sleep Monday, February 1, 2016. She leaves behind her husband of 49 years Roland A. Gauthier, her daughter Jennifer and husband Chaplain Major George Tyger and her son Jason along with his wife Gretchen Gauthier. She also leaves her grandchildren; Adin Gauthier-Tyger, Rosaleigh Gauthier-Tyger, Corey Gauthier-Tyger, Elizabeth Gauthier and Judson Gauthier. She leaves her brother Charles Crabtree; sisters-in-law Therese (Gauthier) Sherburne and her husband Franklin, Darlene (Gauthier) Field and her husband Arthur, Joanne (Gauthier) McDowell and her husband Rodney and many nieces and nephews. Polly was predeceased by her father Charles L Crabtree her mother Rita (Lemire) Crabtree and her sister Nancy Crabtree. She also leaves her extended family Mary Jo, Donald, Emily & Hannah Lavin.

Polly was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed travelling with her husband and family; going on cruises, visiting her kids and exploring the Southwest. Polly was an avid photographer and enjoyed creating art. She was loved by so many people because of her kindness, her smile and her laughter. She worked hard to support her family in their endeavors.

Polly worked with her husband to help start his accounting office. She continued to work with him there first as a secretary and as office manager, working with and training clients on computer software. Without Polly's support at the office and at home, Roland A. Gauthier, CPA would not have the successful business it is today. Polly attended UMass Amherst and graduated from Narragansett High School.

She leaves behind a hole in the hearts of those who loved and cared about her. Her family could not have made this final journey with her without the help of many terrific, selfless caretakers, from family, friends and the services of Seniors Helping Seniors and Hospice.

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, February 5,2016 from 4-7PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 44 Gilbert St. North Brookfield.
