In loving memory of a wonderful friend. For nearly two decades we shared our lives upnin NY at Ralph's lodge, sharing stories, venison, and adding to the memories that we will remember forever. The world is a different place without Ralph and his infectious laugh. Thank you for everything Ralph, I hope you are golfing, fishing and smiling in heaven.

Pricilla, heard from my sister Mary via Sara Loogee(sp?) about Ralph's passing. Our thoughts are with you. Only met Ralph once or twice but was glad to read from his friends and family what a great guy he was. BTW I was born four days after him on Dec 3, 1935. I often think of you fondly. You were the fun one. You certainly resemble Edith in that panama city photo, and for that matter, Grammie Eaton. With Love, David (and Jean) Frost

Will always remember his stories and great laugh. Our girls were just babies when we started going to the Double Eagle Lodge. Such fond memories that we will always cherish. We will miss you Ralph.

"Our group" first started fishing the Salmon River when Ralph purchased the Double Eagle. For the first few seasons, fishing on Columbus Day weekend couldn't come soon enough.. On our car ride out, fishing stories from past years flew around the car. Who was going to catch the most and the biggest this year was also discussed (argued). I guess it was on year 3 or 4 our topic of conversation had completely changed.. It seemed like everyone was more interested and excited to see "Your Dad & Husband" than fishing. Conversations were now directed toward - wonder what Ralphs been up to, or remember the time Ralph told us that funny story about_, etc. Our Fall "fishing trip" turned into a excuse for all of us to get away to see "Our Friend" Ralph. His hospitality made us feel like owners. Ralph - " The Double Eagle" will never be the same without you. In fact, you can extend that to the "World". We miss your smile and stories. <

My dear friend Ralph,I will always remember our wonderful fishing trips to Maine and New York both before and when you were at the Double Eagle.we had such a great summer, when we fished for trout in the mountains of Montana. You used to tell me that Montana was the most beautiful place you have ever seen. Now my friend you are in a most beautiful place. Love you Kenny and Maxine

His laughter started way down at his feet, rolled up to his belly where it gained extra strength and forward thrust, and then burst forth from him, filling grammy and grampy's apartment on the bottom floor at 25 High St, echoing all the way up three floors, out through roof and still reverberates to this day throughout the cosmos. What a gift to laugh that way and so bless the world . Great memory.
TO Auntie Priscilla, Corrine, Leslie, Shari, Wendy - I pray for your peace and good memories.

Dad will always be watching over us. Whenever you think of him and hear him telling you one of his many stories, smile. He always had a kind word or story for everyone and was always there for anyone who needed him. Remember the good times with him, for there are many. I love you, Dad!
Love Corrine, always your "number one" daughter.

I had the pleasure of Ralph's hospitality for 10 years when I'd stay at the Double Eagle for the fall Salmon and Steelhead runs. Ralph was a great host, and when you stayed at the Double Eagle you felt like a valued guest in Ralph's home. He greeted everyone with a big smile, and his skills as a raconteur were always on display. He clearly loved people, and people loved him back. All who stayed with Ralph remembered him fondly in the years since he sold the lodge to Stan, and all who remember Ralph will be saddened by the passing of our delightful friend. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace Ralph.

Uncle Ralph, I will think of your smiling face and your big warm, welcoming hugs often over the next several years. I know my dad will miss you very, very much and I will try hard to learn golf and keep him busy on the golf courses of California. We will all be with you soon enough. I take comfort knowing you are resting with the Pomeroys that have also gone on ahead.
Aunt Pris , Corrine, Leslie, Shari, Wendy and all your extended children....I am very sorry for your loss. I know how close you all have always been and I am sure all your hearts are broken. Aunt Gail and all my cousin, I am also sorry for your loss, I know Uncle Ralph has always been a big part of your lives as well.
I may not be able to be with you all in person but I am there in spirit, please accept my sorrow for his passing.
Love Diane, Brandon, And Kyle Strickland
