Ramona Zaghi Obituary

Ramona Ruth "Skip" (Spohn) Zaghi, 80, of Old Farm Rd. died Saturday, June 20, in her home with her son by her side.

Her husband John Zaghi died March 20, 2002.

She was born in Superior, Nebraska on January 4, 1929, and was a resident of Sturbridge for more than 36 years.

Skip grew up in Chester, Nebraska, a small town of about 500, with her brother Dick and sister Donna.

She worked as an Executive Secretary for Bendix Aerospace in Michigan.

She leaves her son John Michael his wife Jaime Zaghi and their two children Brandon and Alyssa all of Charlton , and her daughter Jill (Zaghi) McIntosh, her husband Robert, and their three children, Rebecca, and twins Alex and Andrew all of Londonderry, NH.

She was a member of the Sturbridge Federated Church.

Her funeral will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, June 24th, in the Sturbridge Federated Church, Maple St. and Rt 131, Sturbridge. Burial will follow in North Cemetery. There are no public calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, Ma. 01701.

Skip was a loving person that took care of more than just her family.Between her and Mr Zaghi they fixed and fed the neighborhood.And it didnt stop there. Many nights I spent at the Zaghi's house and she took care of me.To my second mom I will miss you and thank you.John and Jill so sorry for your loss. But your full of good memories that live on.
